My 2010 rx350 has a barely audible confirmation tone when I remotely lock the doors. Can this be made louder or switched to the horn beeping?

 

If you have nav, this can be changed using the navigation in the Vehicle Settings menu. There should be an adjustment there

Found the setting and it is turned all way up. Must be something wrong as I can't imagine the highest setting can sound so low. Anyone have a similar experience with this?

 

so the low and high setting sound the same? I think it may be the unit that creates the sound.

 

My Lexus RX 350 has a very low beep when I lock and unlock my doors. It was much louder before. Can someone please help I can only tell it's locker by the lights and not the sound

 

You can adjust the level of the sound in the vehicle customization menu.

 

Thanks for responding however I tried that the volume is up all the way and it is still very hard to hear. All the doors lock and the lights flash but sounds are low

^No, I wasn't . I was thinking maybe his horn was buggered and stuck at low volume for everything.

I've noticed that the little chirp sound when I lock/unlock my vehicle was getting weaker and weaker over time, to eventually not making a sound at all.

Does anyone know if this can easily fixed/replaced by me or is it buried so deep that I'll need special tools to get to it? Also, has this happened to
anyone here? If so, what am I looking at as far as a repair bill, $400 for tiny speaker? lol

 

Did you ever solve this problem? I have the same exact issue and I'm wondering what I can do to fix it rather than taking it to the dealing and paying $500 for tiny speaker lol
