Precut tints from ebay
I wanted to buy the precut tints for the RX 350 from ebay and apply them myself. Has anyone had any experience with this? Also, what % tints should I get to match the factory tints.

Factory tints are at 20% however most states do not allow tints lower than 35% on front windows so make sure to google your state so you won't get tickets, they are a little expensive

actually if you were to have the exact match of rear (factory) if you were just to tint two front is 20% tint, that is factory, otherwise it will be different. i doublechecked with a tinting guy who did my tints

Unless you are very skilled and experienced you are likely to have many air bubbles in your tint. It is one of those things worth getting done by a pro. They will also know the local laws and how to best match your present tint if possible.
Tinting prices vary by region and by brand and type of tinting material used. You need to call around to a few tint shops. I had the sunroof on my old 2008 MINI Cooper tinted for $110 about 5 years ago.

I did my Corolla with precut tints. And Rav4's tint films I cut myself.
If you decide to buy precuts, make sure they are for right windows before you start the job.
When I received precuts for Corolla, there was two right rear door window films and no left one. I had prepared the car and did other windows, this made me to the clean/preparation twice.
But I could say with my experiences that
if you can apply the tint films well enough yourself,
you should also practice cutting the tint film in desired shape yourself. I found it easier than applying the film to window.
Roll of tint film is rather cheap, even qualitybrand ones compared to precuts.
My learning has been I won't tint anymore (not enough skill/time to practice/garage with good lights) I found good shop that tints 5 windows (not front doors or windscreen, illegal here) less than double the price of precuts I bought
