Either he knows he cannot meet those numbers, or he forgot to call you. Either way it is not a point in his favor. If you really want the lease, the only way for you to know is to call again or go down there. If you don't like that guy, just ask for someone else.

no i did like the guy,i leased my current 2013 from him.I just thought by me calling sound desperate

No, still didn't work. Anyways, the reason they are doing this is because there will be an influx in traffic for the RX's in the next few months and in the business we like to have "switch cars" for when we can't come to an agreement (typically on pricing) on new ones. So it is sort of a back up plan for us in the sales business.
