Default Exhaust Sound

Has anyone changed the way their RX sounds, per say put aftermarket exhaust, muffler. Im thinking about some sweet sound that your ears can enjoy as you drive, that would be meaner than the stock RX

I was going to if I had a longer lease on my RX.

I installed a Magnaflow custom exhaust on my IS and I'd do the same thing if I still had the RX. The nice thing about Magnaflow is it's a high quality stainless steel free-flow muffler at a low cost. For the RX, I was going to replace the muffler (middle) with a similar fit Magnaflow at my local exhaust car shop for about $300 installed (OEM cut out, new one welded to existing piping). with a nice stainless steel tip to finish off the look.

It won't sound exactly the same on the RX, but you can hear the smooth deep sound on my IS with the Magnaflow mufflers, with no drone!

I live in a neighbourhood full of yahoos that think their modified exhausts sound cool, but in actual fact sound like crap and just annoy everyone else. Putting this stuff on a Lexus (or any vehicle for that matter) is what a 16 year old does to a 15 year old rusted out Honda civic. It's immature, a waste of money and you'll have a very hard time unloading it at resale time.

Not sure why anyone would do this to an RX in the first place... but you could try an air intake instead of exhaust.
I had one on 2 IS300s I owned and it sounded really sweet. No drone and loud only at WOT.
Granted, the IS300 had an I6, one of the best balanced engines out there.

Here's a JDM one for ya:
