To Cabernet or not to Cabernet, that is the question !
Im making deal on crafted line rx, but kinda getting worried about interior, some pictures are showing it kinda red, i only saw one for a brief moment at dealer that is hours away....the dealer i am working with is a local dealer, and showed me the leather swatch......which has more of a brown tone which i love...can any cabernet or crafted line owner chime in. Thanks

I haven't seen it in person yet, but I must say the Cabernet interior looks very pink to me. From the pics I have seen I would prefer the black interior that I have now. Again, though, I have only seen pictures, not the real thing since they are so rare. But the pics of all the crafted line vehicles have the same pink hue in my opinion.

My GS has Cabernet and it's not that red. Idk it's weird. I don't even know how to explain it. I was hoping for lipstick red so I was disappointed when I picked up the car.

clay7160, the cabernet is not overly red. I checked one out at the dealer a few weeks ago. Now I'm not a fan of red. But I actually thought it looked good. Plus the matching edging on the floor and cargo mats is a nice touch.
Here's a pic taken with my iPhone. Maybe not the highest quality but I think it represents the color well.

clay7160. Crafted Line doesn't exist here in Canada, but I'm familiar with the Cabernet leather in the GS. Like Anita depicted, it's not overly red. It's a blend of some "red" with deep orange and brown. What is "more red" is Rioja Red found in the IS, ISC, CT, RC, and NX. See pics below for comparison. Hope this helps!

I prefer the bottom red, the one called rioja red better.

crafted line
I drove the new rx crafted line and loved the interior. however I didn't like the white and especially with black handles and mirrors, thought it looked cheap.
ended up buying a black on black f sport and love it. good luck

Same here. And the GS gallery on the lexus website is misleading. It looks like the GS has rioja red. So I pulled the trigger without even looking in the car. I still like my Cabernet but I probably would have considered black more if I would have looked at it in person first.

My wife's RX F-Sport has the cabernet interior, we love it. And apparently so does everyone who sees it.
I have found that pics of it tend to make it seem brighter than it is in person, because it's not a bright red and it certainly isn't anything close to pink.
Based on the two pics posted, in person it is closer to the top pic

^^ I agree, and IMO pictures don't do it justice.. My wife thought it looked "ok" in pics.. When she saw it in person she couldn't believe how much better it looked..
