I wanted to change my license plate bulbs to LED's. Can't figure out how to get to them. The book says have the dealer replace these bulbs if burnt out. I Always like to try to do things myself.

So, are you thinking all 3RX's come from the factory with LED License plate lights?

So, you are confirming that all 3RXs have LED License plate lights?

directly from sylvanias website for '10-'14 rx350's:
This bulb location uses LED lighting and is not a simple replacement part. There is a printed circuit board unit that can normally be found at the dealer
my brother has a 2010 that has OEM led plate lights and i have a 2014 that came with LED...so my assumption was...yes all 3RX's come with LED plate lights..but hey i could be wrong

Looking at the Sewell site, the part numbers are the same for 2010 and 2014 RX350s. The only apparent difference seems to be the 2010 looks like it's for Japan built (JPP) and the 2014 is for Canadian built (NAP). greeknasty, you're probably right about them being LED. They'e pretty bright. And at $62 and change for each lamp assembly (when you set up an account with Sewell), I'll leave them alone for fear of breaking one.
