Default "Dedicated" A/C Button

I have a 2010 RX350 and I know that the lack of a dedicated A/C button has been a major complaint on the forums. I don't think I've heard anyone offer up this solution, but here goes...

^Turn your A/C off, make sure left Auto temperature is on.

^Now your car is set to recirculate

^Your A/C is now on, as is recirculate, keeping the A/C in the car.

^You have now gone through a full loop and returned to the first picture.

Hope that helps,
Eric

Thanks for the post but the only issue I can see is that recirculated air becomes stale this could cause discomfort. The person would then have to later turn off recirculated air and turn ac on.

Looks like the recirculate button has an "auto" light which tells me it's probably on a timer and will return to regular circulation after a certain time or temperature is reached. My recirculation button goes out on it's own after the A/C's been on for a while. '11RX no nav.

As Ray stated above, the auto recirculate button is on; The car will decide the quality and temperature of the air outside and will not always recirculate air. I was driving to work this morning and recirculate turned off, but A/C stayed on.

Also of note is that when I turn my A/C on, the auto recirculate button automatically turns on as well. This is how I figure out they were related. The system designers must have thought that if you wanted A/C on, it made sense to recirculate cold air unless it was cool enough outside.
