Default Stuck at removing rear door panel. Please help

Hi guys/gals,

I am new to this forum and the Lexus community. I just bought a 2010 RX450h and it is in overall great condition. The leather is damage though on the Rear Driver side door panel, so I am trying to remove it and get it repaired.

I have removed 3 screws
-one behind the door open/close latch
-one under the wood/window switch
-one in the handle area to pull door and close

I am now trying to take the panel off and have the bottom part pulled off.

But I CANT seem to pry open the top part... I am pulling quite firmly and now scared to breaking it.

Am I missing something or a screw? Is there some trick? I am scared to break it.

Thank you!
Sid

Thanks I watched that many times.

The bottom half snapped out easily.

The top half does not want to come off at all... almost seems like it is being held on by something else.

learsid,

PM me your email. I have a PDF on the door disassembly. Maybe it could help you.

Easier to remove the door panel if you remove the window trim. Then the trick is you must lift the door panel since it's got a track that snugly fits on the metal strip of the door frame.

See. https://www.clublexus.com/forums/rx-...r-squeaks.html

Good luck.
