Default 2010 RX350 Front and Rear Door Seal Problem

Can anyone check to see the following:

1. The front inner window/door seal near the side mirror is becoming deformed

2. The rear outer window/door seal near the back of the rear passenger door coming apart

Please take pictures so we can compare

My rear window seals look somewhat similar to yours. It's currently too cold and dark out to take a photo so I'll get you one tomorrow. I discovered mine a while back but when I checked out a few other RX's, they were all like that so it's one of the few things I just let go. It looks as if the rubber seal was not long enough to go all the way around so at the corners it sticks out a bit. If they were backed up to fit properly into the windows, the ends on the opposite corner of the window would be too short.

Anybody? I'd like to know if I should bring this up to the dealer or if it is normal and like this on all RX350's as my car is almost out of warranty.

FWIW, our 2010 RX, built in Japan in 02/09 doesn't look deformed like that. The seals look fine to me.

It doesn't hurt to ask. Al the dealer can say is no.

However, it does seem like a lot of road noise comes from the B-pillar, and I haven't found the source of that yet.

Would you take some pictures of the same spots to show me? That would really help, then I can print it out and show the dealer in case they don't have a 2010 on the lot to compare with. They always give me the crap about how they can't only compare 2010 with 2010 and not 2011 or 2012.

The seals on my 2010 Canada-built also do not look squashed like that.

I am not seeing any deformed seals around the windows. Not sure if this photo helps you or not.

Sorry. Totally forgot to upload photos. Here are mine. IIRC, my front doors are fine.
