Default Wife gets the mod bug?!

Ever since I finally started the project on my '08 GS my wife has been dropping hints about what she can get done to her car. "Can I lower mine like you did?", "what would those convex wheels look like on my car" (talking about the CV4s I want, mistaking for concave), "do I need a cold air filter" haha, stuff like that. We have a 2013 RX350, and as far as I'm concerned it's perfect! Stargazer with saddle birds eye maple interior with all the bells and whistles. But I told her I would ask.

So, anyone out there making moves on the RX?

Haha.. My wife could care less what i do to my other cars, but on her cars (RX-F, Odyssey), she just get in and drive.

I just have to keep the maintenance schedule and once a while i'll drive it and notice something is wrong, then I asked.. then the answer is ? "I don't know"

On our '13 F-Sport, I'd get a Takeda cold air intake to start, then upgrade the exhaust. I'd probably drop the springs an inch but not more to not ruin the ride quality, and finish it off with 255/50/19s on the stock wheels atop 5 mm spacers. BUT.....

it's only a 2-year lease with one year left and it's more the wife's car than mine now as I have our new IS to play with, and she couldn't care less.

Mods like you are discussing really don't make sense on the RX. Maybe she just wanted to indirectly make a point about your mods.

You're right, I bought her some jewelry and she's happy, go figure, haha.

*confused* springs/wheels/intake are usual mods for most cars.

They make an intake for the RX?

We used to have a '11 Sienna SE and I wanted an intake so bad for it.

Wheels would probably be the only thing id put on the RX, besides cosmetic mods.

Anyone thinking about body side moulding to keep the dings out of the doors? How about paint protection film for rock chips?

We had the rock guard installed by the dealer when we bought it. I was quite pleased that it really does disappear and that I can even Zaino over it and get some shine. I thought it would remain dull and look crappy since I couldn't get to the clearcoat.
