Default 2014 RX450 colors

Anyone know if they will offer a lighter blue for 2014?

The 2013 blue is too dark.

chances are no. If you look at the 2014 colors for the 2014 new models like the IS, there is no light blue.

Probably not, with so many new colors added for the 2013's already.

The 2013 GS 350 has both Deep Sea Mica, and also Meteor Blue Mica which is a medium blue. The 2013 RX, at one point before release date at the Geneva Auto Show, was listed as having Meteor Blue Mica as one of the new colors before the eventual Deep Sea Mica. We wanted a blue, and preferably the Meteor Blue, but when it came time to buy, couldn't even find the Deep Sea Mica.

Maybe if the GS 350 sold more Meteor Blue Mica's than the Deep Sea Mica's, the RX will switch blues for the 2014. If so, probably wouldn't be to many, so you would have to be quick, or order one.

Well, I am not to optimistic they will have a blue I will find acceptable.

My RX450 is on a 3ry lease ending in a few months.

I only have 6500 miles on the car. And it looks great

The dealer is talking about 2 year re-lease under the certified new car.

It would cost me 3k for the certification, plus sales tax.

What to do.....

Have you thought of buying the car out with that amount of clicks? You are eating all the depreciation and giving the dealer a nice profit.

Business write off, does not pay to buy it yet.

Do Dealers ever make a decent deal on re-lease, or as they call it pre-owned certified.

I am in agreement with you. They could probably get a better deal on an extended warranty from Jerry @Midwest Toyota and forgo the certification process. That RX is basically brand new, IMO, and if you are happy with it you would be better off not putting additional money into the dealer's pocket. Instead, keep it for yourself. You can always trade it in at a later point if you see something better. Car loans on used vehicles up to 60 months and $35K are only 2% at my credit union, so look around to see what is available to you in addition to anything the dealership may have to offer.

I understand it is a business lease, did many of those myself, but I think having the vehicle certified just for you to re-lease it is nothing more than money in the dealer's pocket.
