Default 2012 rear seats

I had something fall in the back of the rear seats and i have tried everything to get behind them and pull it out. does anyone know of a way to get back and underneath the seat or lift it up? Even lowering the back rest of the seat does not allow you to get underneath the seat.....suggestions or am I missing something here?

Slide your backseat all the way to the front to create a side gap between the seat back and the vehicle for you to stick you hand in to pick up whatever you dropped.

Typically, bottom cushions in Toyota vehicles snap off when you pull up them up. Didn't try the RX, though.
