Default Problem playing an audio CD

I burned a music cd on my computer and the computer plays the tracks back in the correct order, but I can not get the cd to play the tracks in order on my Lexus cd player. I do not have the Lexus player set for random play. Does anyone know what's going on here?

Have not heard of this problem before and CDs I burn via iTunes on OSX work fine in my 2013 RX450h with Nav and ML. Is it possible for you to try the CD in another player, perhaps a DVD player you have at home or some other device? I suspect it has something to do with the way your program burned the CD. PCs tend to be able to play most things, other devices, not always so much. There are a bunch of rules on what types of files, filenames, how folders are put together, etc. I don't know your MY Lexus to point you more specifically, so as an example, for a 2013 RX450h, look on p578 of this manual and it will start to list all the do's and don'ts of what IS supported. You need your program to be sure it is recording the CD with rules that are in that list in your manual.

If that does not help, respond back with more info and maybe it will trigger something with one of us. What model and MY Lexus do you have? Do you have Mark Levinson or not? Do you have Nav or not? What program are you using to do the burn, and is that in Windows, Linux, OSX? Any options in that program that throw up a red flag as you look at what IS supported by your Lexus player? etc...

Good luck.

The cd plays in the same order on my home cd player as it does in the car. The disc was burned using Windows Media Player so I guess the problem lies somewhere with Windows. Strange that the tunes play in the correct order on my computer. Anyway, thanks for your comments.

Odd. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.... I no longer have a windows-based machine to take a peek at WMP. Perhaps someone else will be able to be of a lot more assistance. Good luck.
