I have the darker, titanium smoked factory 19" rims (F Sport) on my 13..... it looks "OK" IMO, on my Pearl White RX. Would not be my first choice. I actually would have preferred the chrome.

If I was to replace these rims (will not, since I already paid premium for them)....I would first consider nice white rims... I really like the look of white rims on white car, and black rims on black cars. Other car colors don't lend themselves to this very well. However, only a few car makers have offered white rims with their white cars, so maybe its just my funky taste, but have a look if you are considering changing rims. Of course, it would be advisable to not select a LOUD set of rims, as the RX is an understated rig to begin with... here is a sample pix that looks decent.... I am curious what others think?

I was thinking about doing the same a while back, but the wife put a stop to that before it started. If you decide to do so, post pix I'm interested in how it looks. I Plasti-dipped all the rear chrome emblems already so black-out wheels I think would go well.

You can go on tirerack's website and pick black wheels to your liking. There's a link to see what it will look like on your vehicle. That should give you a good idea of what it will be like, if nobody posts pictures.

White wheels may seem like a good idea until you realize how quick they turn black due to brake dust. Long story short I'll never get white wheels ever again.

Painting black wheels look cheap to me sort of like the "steelies" look which degrades imo.

well i dont wanna buy a new set of rims, i have 19s on my RX rn, and i was thinking either goin to a shop where my friend went to do his rim, they paint them really nice, i like them, but they charged him almost 900$, which is a bit expensive for me, i only work part-time and full time student, and he works 6 days a week full-time at a good office so its not much for him. or i just gonna plasti dip it like 3-4 layers which is cheaper and in case they wont look good, i can peel it off and keep it stock. I do agree about black on black, its great, i used to have black in/out lexus on black rims limo tinted and smoked taillights lol, but with this car i dont want cops to pull me over every other block. So im thinking to increase tints to 5% and windshield to 35% in next couple of months, just gotta get used to a car, black rims, smoked taillights, should look alright no?
