The 3rd gen RX Tire Thread
My wife's 2015 RX350 had a brand-new set of Kumho Solus KL21 all-season tires on it when we purchased the vehicle in late October 2018. My tire research taught me they were mediocre tires at best, but I was pleasantly surprised when they lasted 48,500 miles before needing to be replaced due to only 3/32nds of tread left (they did wear evenly so that was good). She does a lot of highway driving and does not abuse the vehicle so that helped to extend the life of those Kumhos. If yours are relatively new, I would just keep them and replace with something better once they are done.
Looks a tad aggressive but surprisingly quiet!

Somehow this Lexus really isn't cut out for anything remotely resembling four wheel driving, so the choice of these tires are just for looks.
I went with a slightly wider than stock size - instead of 235/55x19", I opted for 245/55x19" which will surely make my fuel consumption slightly worse. However, I found that the 235 mm stock tyres were too skinny and the alloy wheels were prone to getting gutter rash. So I am hoping the 245 mm tyres might offer slightly more protection from kerbing the wheels. One can only hope!!

I tried to fix the spelling mistake in my thread title, but it won't allow me to do it.
Can I please request a moderator to correct the title of the thread. I fat fingered the S key on the keyboard with the adjacent X key. :-(

Time to replace my Michelin Latitude Tour HPs. I'd be inclined to get them again but Costco (where I usually get) is out. The Dueler H/L 400 has a $150 off 4 promo. I'm in Northern California, rarely but sometimes I'm in snow.
I would try the Michelin CrossClimate2’s, if it ever rains in California. LOL
Turns out Costco real inventory may differ from website. They’re about to start the new $ off promo for Michelin (12/25+) and Latitude Tour HP are avail. Now maybe I need to pick between Latitude Tour HP and CrossClimate2.
Research the Continental CrossContact LX25. I did the research earlier this year and installed a set on my wife's 2015 RX350 in mid-August. They are great SUV tires with a lengthy treadwear warranty at a reasonable price, especially if you can catch a sale or rebate offer on them.
I'm looking at the LX25's now - along with the ExtremeContact DWS 06.
I'm considering all the things you noted but above all, I want a quite tire - currently running Pirelli Scorpions with most of their tread still remaining but very noisy - they will not be back on this spring (once I switch out my winters).
They were so bad, I actually thought I had bearing problems (but did not) -
Could you please confirm the noise on the Continental's? Reviews state they are quite but would appreciate hearing from a member using on the RX
