GPS Map software for Indonesia

GPS Map software for Indonesia
Does any one no the manufacturer of the GPS units in 2012 RX 270 model. My problem i bought a RX270 brand new in Indonesia 2012 which i did not no was parallel imported from Hong Kong. Built in Japan as all the other Lexus models in Indonesia but bought through Hong Kong with Hong Kong Spec's.
When i bought the car the GPS was set up with Hong Kong maps and the dealer assured me that he would update the map software to Indonesia the following week, that never happened and 9 months later my GPS still does not work.
I contacted Lexus Indonesia and they said they would not sell me the map software because the car was imported through Hong Kong so i then contacted Lexus Japan customer service and they said the same thing, they would not sell me the software for Indonesia, in other words bad luck.
Had i known the car was parallel imported and the map software for Indonesia was impossible to get i would never have bought the car as it was the same price as the local RX models.
Anyone have any ideas on how i could get the software? Thank you.

You could ask the Indonesian dealers for a quote to convert your car over for local maps ... they may charge you for a whole new NAV unit. You might also check with local parts recyclers to see if any totaled RX's (years 2010 - 2012) have a unit that can be purchased at a discount and installed in your car. You might get lucky. You can then sell your existing unit for parts in HK. The difference in cost might not be that great.
