Default Variable Eco "bar" display not showing

As above. The variable length eco performance bar display is not showing on the small screen between the speedometer and tach. The green eco light shows as do other mssgs (so it's not like the display is broken). Nothing I can find in the manual though the index to the manual is abysmal.

Thx!

Just push the switch on the right side of the steering wheel up or down until you find the ECO bar.

bump and update of sorts.

I used a menu select button on the right side face of the steering wheel. I was able to toggle through 2 options: ECT on/off, and parking sensor on/off. Was this the place I'm supposed to see an on/off to activate the eco bar display? Weird... it's not even showing up as an option.

No. You don't have to go into the menu. Simply toggle the "Enter" button up or down and several display will show up.

Thx. Just to be specific for future braindeads like me, it's actually not the "enter" button but the "up" or "down" buttons. As I mentioned above, I did try to consult the manual. I really do need to sit down and read the thing, though you'd think they'd make a better index.

And thx again!

The "Enter" button is multi-function. Pushing it in is <enter>, moving it up and down (without pushing in) scrolls through a series of menu items, such as tire pressures, instaneous MPG, averages, etc, etc...

The multi-informational display, MID, also changes when you set the cruise control. It just says, "set". Even then using the "Page" button and "Enter-scroll" button still work.
