Rx450h Front Ball Joints - Knocking, Clunking
Anyone having an issue with the Rx450h front ball joints. In our 2010 Rx450h, when driving forward from a full stop, there is a definite knock like something was shifting position or banging.
After a year of the front left side knocking and clunking when driving from a full stop, the Lexus dealer diagnosed the problem as a bad ball joint. They replaced the part and the knocking on the left front stopped. Two months later, now we have the same sound starting on the right side of the car.
Has anyone else had a problem with a knocking in the front end suspension or word ball joints?

I have one of the 1st production 450h models and have had no problems other than a stressed w/s crack that warranty fixed with a new OEM w/s. There was a clicking noise that would happen on the left side as I started to accelerate from about 10mp0h, turned out one of the half shaft bolts needed tightening. Haven't heard of your problem before, might have been tied down wrong on shipping ??? Or maybe just a bad run of ball joints from the vendor.
