I find the sound lacking clarity and somewhat harsh at higher volume.
I would not touch the system myself, but will appreciate you advise.

I'd recommend changing out the speakers and adding an amp and subwoofer. That's what I did on the 330 and was very happy with the results. As far as installers, you might want to post the question in the regional forums. The place I deal with is on the other side of the Hudson from you.
