Default An unnoticeably cool feature

Hello all-

New Lexus owner here - just bought a 2011 RX350 Smokey Grey Mica. I have had a great time getting to know all the features of the RX...definitely some great stuff!

I have to say, one of my favorites is one that many people likely don't know exists/happens. I noticed today that when you turn off the car, the remote touch joystick automatically re-centers itself within the control area. Totally unnecessary, but incredible attention to detail!

Just another way the RX is just as classy off as it is running.

Welcome to CL and congrats on your new ride. I'm sure you'll find many other great "little things" with your Lexus as time goes on. Enjoy!

Welcome. I also recently purchased an RX and when I first found out that they joystick recentered itself I was extremely impressed. You said it best, great attention to detail.

It recenters NOT to impress the owner but so the electronics know where it is when the car is restarted. It's not done for you.

It also re-centers itself when you start the car

Now if it would just automatically center itself in a parking space when my wife drives.
