i have 19 in on my model can i go back to 18 in, will they be smoother, mine are 235 55 19 . i am looking for smooth, what tires are best- thank you

 

The standard wheel on the RX is 18", so you can use that size without any problem. I suspect you would feel less harshness from rough roads with the 18" wheels, but since the suspension is not changed, the overall ride will be the same. If you are asking for suggestions for a brand of tire, my preference is Michelin.

I'm curious as to the "Superchrome" finish on the 19" triple-split-five-spoke alloy wheels. Can I assume these wheels are not painted or clearcoated but simply polished? Anyone know?
