Anyone get a discount on a 2013 RX??

Quote: Just drove by my dealership. Stopped and looked at what was available. There were a lot of 2012 RX's. More than their normal inventory level (perhaps gearing up for Memorial Day Event - tent present). Many of the cars had little tags in them like $5,000 off or $368/mo lease. I have to believe that there are some incredible deals on these remaining 2012's. It would not surprise me if a few people were picking these up at $6,000 - $7,000 off. My guess is that the incentives on the 2013's will not show up until these 2012's are depleted. At that point, I would think there would be good deals on 2013's. I wouldn't have any problem offering them invoice on a 2013 now.

If anyone is shopping, I was at Pleasanton Lexus here in the SF Bay Area.

Edit: Just got an email from Pleasanton Lexus. They say that they want to sell 50 cars in the next 7 days ... Memorial Day Event. The email offer for RX350's: AT LEAST $5,000 off (their words), plus $1,000 loyalty discount (if qualify), plus 0.0% financing (limited term). My reading of the sale is that you can probably get $7,000 off with zero percent financing.
These are unbelievable deals to have there.

What are you doing at 3:00 in the morning? Just drive around....

2013 rx350 awd
Nice to be back to Lexus forum. Just to share, I just today special ordered 2013 RX350 AWD with $8K plus option package from the configuring page and in addition the luxury package with blind spot monitor ($5,020), Mark Levinson Audio ($995), and Pre-collision System ($1500) for $52K that matches with almost $2,500 discount. Delivery will be in September 2012.

Quote: Not sure about that bc the 2012, are getting the better lease deals bc of interest rate and other ratios, thats what the dealer told me.

SO in interest you could be paying 2k or more less because of the interest rate.

That's probably true. I leased a 2012 and did not do a 2013 comparison. In hindsight because I had 8 months left on my 2010, I probably should have ordered a 2013 with only the equipment I needed. Not sure they let you order front wheel drive in the Chicago area though. I would order a front wheel drive hybrid without NAV.

I want a RX350 FWD with the blind spot monitors, but I've been told by my dealerin Florida I can't order a RX350 2013, I have to buy from their allotment and Lexus isn't making any with blind spot monitors. Yet I see you were able to order what you wanted.

Wes, if you really have your heart set on a special-order, I'd suggest you look for another dealer that will do it for you. They apparently don't want your business that bad.

Wes I ordered a 2013 450h AWD with Comfort, Luxury (incl. LED headlights), Blind Spot Monitor, Mark Levinson, Intuitive Park Assist, and Heads Up Display last week. The dealer's system is accepting the Blind Spot Monitor in their builds.

Mine won't be delivered until late this summer but I've had my 2001 since new (almost 11 years) so I can wait another 90-120 days,

I took delivery of a 2013 Rx 450h AWD last Friday (08-Jun-12) in Houston. No discount, no special financing from Lexus (although their deal with Chase beat the credit union - 2.9% for 60 months). They did "throw in" window tint and pin stripe. It has Premium, Comfort, Tow Prep, Accessory pkgs, hitch and receiver, HID, 12 spkr audio, 19" wheels, HUD, Nav, Park Assist, remote start, door edge guards, cross bars, spider net, a couple other small things; Obsidian / gray. MSRP $59,432 and that's what I had to pay for it...less trade difference. I got them to up the trade-in value by $1500 when I showed them the CarMax quote.

I would like to see how they did your pin stripe, if you feel like posting a photo(s).

I'll grab a photo at lunch and post. I'm also considering the body side molding (not sure that's what it's called) to save a few door dings. I had door edge guards added at the port but that only keeps me from dinging someone else's door!

Curious if they are the old "tape" ones that my buddy used to install for dealers for $7 and
charged $59, or actually painted on??

The door edge guards are a stainless steel part and are painted + clear coated to match the body. See the Sewell Lexus parts page on them for details.

Here are a couple phone camera shots of the pinstripe. I didn't think to look at whether they are painted or tape! I will examine more closely on the way home tonite.
