While in motion, the entertainment system randomly changes sources. Ex: Will select an XM station, and system will eventually change to another source such as an AM radio channel. Dealership has ordered a new system. Thankfully, still under original warranty. 2010 RX 350 built 12/23/08. Current Mileage: 23K

 

04/24 - System replaced and working properly. No charge. Apparently, a recurring problem. Service Writer mentioned that had replaced two systems that day alone.

 

Did you mean to say 2009? I had mine build around the same time and thankfully I have no issues.

 

I have a 2010 RX that ejects the CDs while listening to XM. It has also turned itself off a few times. My dealer is 100 miles away so I'm going to wait until it is time for the 20k oil change to report this.

 

I haven't put in a cd for mine, I think I should try this.

One weird thing I just did over the weekend involved the head unit. As I went to adjust the volume using the **** I accidentally touched the side of the unit. Immediately the CD was ejected and it went from XM to AM. I thought is was a fluke but I tried it several times more with the same result.

I haven't had anything happen without touching the stereo but I will bring it to my SA next time I'm in for service.
