Oh my. For me, that's a big no-no. I don't do advertising for any dealer via decals or badges on my ride, and that is always an upfront requirement before negotiation begins. Even their complimentary license plate frames come off as soon as my new ride gets home, and I replace them with my own.
Agree, same with me. I'll agree if they pay me for advertising.
I wonder how many 'PAY' for the HYBRID decal to display in the back glass ???
I don't mind the Lexus metal display on the back deck. Could take it or leave it, it's not bad. I have replaced the dealer plate frame with a plain chrome one, no writing.
I haven't paid anything for the hybrid sticker because I didn't get one
I agree, the Lexus emblem is universal but having it on the back makes my '10 feel balanced And as much as I love my dealer, the frames went as soon as I could put the plates on. I have the bracket from Japan, color matched too.
Now if I could only do something about the plate color...

I had specific instructions to my salesguy before I took delivery. No dealer markings or plates. So I get there and there isn't a dealer plate frame but a sticker on the hatch. He saaw it and said "*****". He then took it back to service and they removed the decal.
I like the symmetry of having the Lexus badge on the back of my 2010. This is a big vehicle and it adds a little bling. I have a thin chrome license plate frame (no dealer plate) and looks very nice with the two emblems on each side.

I, too, am not a fan of dealer advertising. I have my own license frames, so that was covered. However, when I picked up my new car, they had a new-for-them dealer emblem installed right below the 'RX350'. I took one look at it and asked "who was the cross-eyed moron who installed that? " The emblem was about the same length as the 'RX350' (8"), but it was out of level/parallel about 3/8" ! Now I happen to have a very good eye for detail, but anyone could see that was out of whack. I told them to remove it and suggested that if they want to convey pride in their dealership, then they might want to be more careful. The service manager was in complete agreement.
Funny thing is, most buyers will not remove this dealer advertising,
whether it's a license plate frame of a badge adjacent to the authentic emblems.
Personally, i think they should ask the buyer first before doing that.

Yes, agreed. My dealer actually does ask their customers first, and does not even drill front license plate frame holes until they ask each customer. Pretty smart. (Sure beats my X-BMW dealer where we specified even on the original order that went to Germany and back to not drill the holes, but when I arrived for pickup, the dealer had drilled the holes anyway.)
I agree for the badge, because having Lexus on the left and 450h on the right (in big letters/numbers) is too much but apparently till 2012, those badages have been put on the car body but not sticked but with small opening in the body. Is this true? Otherwise, I will remove them.
In addition, for Ads, I agree, I have remove all sticks except on the license plate because it is a expensive one (for premium cars). Removing ads because the car dealer does not give me any money or advantage , or else for his ads on my back.

I replace the one from the Dealership here in Mobile with the one that I had for me 2005 330 that I ordered from the Dealership in New Orleans. Drives the New car manager and the owner nuts.
