I received an email today regarding the 2013 RX line and within the email, it provided a link if you wanted more information. On the page where you fill out your information, it says that the RX350 and RX450h will be released in May and the RX350 F Sport will be coming in August. Just thought I'd share. Dang just got 2012 not too long ago.

 

Wow I wonder if they changed their minds about bringing the F-Sport to NA. Previous info has NA just getting a sports appearance package.

 

I wish Lexus would just release what info will be on what car... I dont even care about pricing at this point, just would like to know...

For example, will F sport be on the hybrid? I'm getting a hybrid, but yet the dealer has no info on how to order, what to order or even when.... If I am waiting until May, I dont want May to get here and the hybrids show up and then its "oh yeah you can order that" and wait another 2-3 months....

 

Yes, I keep reading conflicting stories on the F-Sport...some say only on the RX 450h, while others say both RX350 and Hybrid. I've also read conflicting stories about the transmission...some say it will be an 8 speed automatic, while other say same 6 speed as the 2012 model....I hope the F-Sport is available on the RX 350 AWD.

 

Looks like a 6 speed is what we are getting. 8 speed won't be till the next go around. Has any one noticed that it looks like the HID's are now further out getting rid of the cross eyed look. Sure looks like those will fit in a 2010-2012. Wish I had a few more dollars I would love to update to the '13.

 

don't worry you will be sitting pretty when the '16 are released with the full set of upgrades including more powerful engine.

Why do you say the 6 speed? Can you tell from the picture or some other source?

 

I previously posted a link to the official press release from Toyota and the spec sheet still shows a 6 speed. You can do a search for it.

 

Add a few zeros to that 5 and I'll be good.

 

Thanks for posting. Obviously some people like it but personally I can't stand the Hyundai/Mitsubishi grill/front end Lexus now puts on the RX and GS. Oh well, guess that's what makes the horse race...

Thats why I brought the 2012 in late feb.

If they were upgrading the performance/engine than I might have sucked it up and got the 2013.

But a new bumper that I don't care for, and a upgraded enform that costs a monthly fee, isn't enough to pay close to MSRP, and wait for JMHO.

I'll wait to 2016 when the engine/performance gets upgraded.
