Default Key fob id

When my wife uses my RX450h and my fob, she pushes the 2nd setting for the seats, etc. When I get in, with my fob, it goes to her settings. I have to go through the effort of pushing the first setting button.
Her RX 350 is up north on an automatic trickle charger.
If we get in the car and I have my #1 fob and she has her #2 fob in her purse/overnight bag, my fob is not recognized until I hold it in my hand while pushing the start button.

Why don't you link your fob with #1 button, and link your wife's fob with #2 button? The way you link the fob is to first make sure only one fob is in the car at a time; and then push and hold down on either #1 or #2 button and then push and hold down the door unlock button until you hear a beep. Next time when you unlock the door, the seat, steering wheel, and the mirrors will be set to the either #1 or #2 button depending on which fob you use to open the door.

Thank you for this tip. I have 2 RXes and 4 keys and yes it is annoying to press the memory button everytime.

I didn't know you can do that. How would the fob know which setting (1 or 2) to execute when you unlock the door with that fob?

If you read the manual, this is all explained. Take a few minutes and look it up and it will all become clear.
