Well end of lease came & it was time for the wife to decide if she wants to keep her 08 RX Brandywine Mica or turn it in for a new RX, she said I love my car and I think I want to keep it! I said let's go look at all of our options first then go from there, after getting a KILLER DEAL (Hennessey Lexus Atlanta) on a loaded RX with the color she liked it was a no brainer! So off we went, next was getting the front windows tinted to match the rear factory tinted glass b/c we both hate the fish bowl look. The wife is happy she went with the updated RX and loves all her new toys. Here are the options goodness with pics.

Finally great weather so I was able snap some pics of her all cleaned upped.

 

Nice car, and nice color but I really do not like the very US style roof bar (alu).

This equipment is very rare in Europe, the roof bars are not very well designed and look old fashion compared with what Volvo xc60, bmw X3, X5, audi Q5... and others are doing now.

Really do not understand why Lexus maintains this awful style for roof bars.

 

Nothing better than a clean, shiny RX. Hope it lasts for a few days. Looks awesome.

Alpy, I like the rails for two reasons. They compliment the chrome strip across the bottom of the car without making it look top heavy and secondly, they give me something to hold onto while standing on a ladder while polishing and waxing the roof.

 

Thx again guys, I love the flakes in the paint (last pic) really brings more attention to the paint, My wife says the car is turning heads and people say what a beautiful color or how nice the car looks.

The roof rack dose not bother me but not having cross bars do, it makes no sense to be charged extra for them.
