Default Buying the 2010 Rx

I now have a 2007 ES350 Fully loaded, that recently had the Check VSC/ check engine light come on, informing me that it was time to trade up, to an RX for the crazy NYC winter ahead.

I found a 2010 RX with 30k going for $32k that I plan on test driving today, any comments would be very appreciated.

Nice trade up You'll enjoy driving the RX. Make sure you get one with all the toys you want in it. Let us know how it goes. Good luck.

Don't assume options are there - Lexus did some funky things with option combos.... i just got a 2010 and didn't realize it is missing rain sensing wipers - pretty p.o'd but my own fault.

Make a list of what you want and look for those options.

Thank you, I know that ill enjoy it because I've has the 2011 RX loaner for 3 months, and I'm impressed with how it functions with day to day activity. I've read practically every review and opinion by now, and I think that most of the negatives people find in this vehicle are pretty funny. I'm a 6"2 250ibs man who isn't at all put off by people saying the RX is feminine. Masculinity is a state of mind

I think it's pretty interesting how my 2007 ES has way more standard gadgets than the 07 08 09 10 and 11 RXs that I've been looking at.

my first impression of a "fully" loaded 2009 Pebble Beach RX

I can from an '07 ES to the '12 RX in November. I am 6'-1" and 215 and it fits nicely. You'll be happy.

you will LOVE it, although you will definitely miss the mpgs of the ES and the softness of the ride since it's a car.
unlike the previous generation of the RX 350, the 3rd generation has it's own frame and is no longer borrowed from the ES.
But that is expected, switching from a car to an SUV even if it's a car based SUV.
Bottomline, you will like the RX 350 and you will love the handling as well, even on corners.
