Synthetic oil has 3 main advantage over conventional oil:

1) Holds engine contaminants in suspension better and longer than conventional oil before compromising friction protection

2) Flow viscosity in cold temperature

3) Heat tolerant threshold signficantly higher than conventional oil

 

If you guys are concern about the engine oil integrity, how about having them analyzed first before changing them to see how they're holding up. I'll be doing that and post it here when it's close I'm close to 20Kmi.
