Every once in a while I go in the garage, late evening, and the RX 350 is humming. Tonight around 10 p.m. it happened. Wifey and I both investigated. Under the hood, the rear hatch, inside, could not pin down. Then it stopped. Very low, like a quiet compressor or pump.
Any ideas?

 

Fuel system checking for leaks, completely normal.

 

Like tc350 said, it's perfectly normal. It frequently purges gas's from various areas. Wait till you wake in the morning and find it's made your coffee

 

Uhm....your car could be a snorer? It stopped snoring coz some creep is checking him out?

I have the same noise. Spoke to dealer about it and they acted like they never heard of the problem before.

 

i called an Exorcist and the problem was resolved.
