Does anybody have recommendations or pix of black wheels on a RX450h? We just got one, but it looks a bit mom to me.
Thanks,

Here is some picture I took about a week ago on one of our only sunny days. I also just took the roof rack bars off tonight and it is going in the shop to be lowered tomorrow. I will post some pictures when it is done. Unfortunately it will be wet and dirty because i dont think the rain is going to let up anytime soon.

Actually the ride is just slightly rougher than stock. It takes bumps better and smoother than my last 2 escalades and it was a smoother ride than the chevy impala rental car I had a couple of days ago. I picked the continental tires not only for there awesome snow and rain traction, but everyone says that they have the softest ride because the sidewalls arent as stiff as most performance tires. Also the lowering springs were suppose to have more of a softer ride than a performance ride. Overall it has a better ride now than most of the sport cars, suvs, and jeep wrangler I have owned. The only downside is the road noise is more on some roads but that is what a radio is for.

How much did you lower it and what brand springs did you buy? I bought some zoom bane springs which lowered my rx350 fwd about 2 inches. I love the ride and I am not regretting it one bit.

Funny, none of those wheels pictured are completely black. Some are black rim with silver spokes, other is what appears to be a silver rim with black spokes. Graphite wheel comes closest to black, and looks best, IMO.
Man, but that mirror finish on the side doors has me captivated. That must have been some serious sanding & buffing to make Lexus OEM finish look cool. Or is it just the camera?

You should paint brake calipers bright red to complete the look. Looks weird with that rust showing through. Those wheels wouldn't last a month in NYC streets, not with such low profile tires. But they do look great.

As far as the mirror finish - the shots taken where you see the reflection have wet pavement/driveway. Add that to a camera flash and you've got a great relfecting opportunity. Granted you still need to have a good finish and paint maintenance nonetheless in order to obtain that type of shot so good work on the finishing KS!!!
