Hi,

Just bought 2010 RX350. As I start the car, or switch to IGNTION ON mode, I heard very load fan noise. First I thought it's the air condition, but I confirmed the air condition is off.

I have spent about 20 mins, and finally located the noise comes from the vent on the botton of front chairs. Anyone know why there's air blows out from those two vents, and how can I close or disable it?

There should not be any disturbing loud noise. The only noise that can come from the seats is when the seat ventilation/heater is on. Turn it off from the center handrest and see if it makes a difference.

 

Thank you. Yes, the seat ventilation/heater is on up to 3. Once I turn it off, I don't hear any loud noise.

 

Hmm....I always have mine on 3 and I don't hear anything other than my *** getting cooled.

 

I don't hear mine running either, but again, I don't hear perfectly.

 

I could hear mine when set on 2 or above. It's there. After all, they're fans; it's only natural.
