I realized yesterday that the traffic function on the SAT radio had gone away. The little icon with 3 cars that is either grayed out or orange wasn't there. Figured out that I hadn't added XMNavTraffic to my continuation of the subscription.

Went to my account on the SiriusXM website and added it back in. Directions said to go turn on the radio, tune in to Channel 1 (or 18something for Sirius) and push the onscreen button to send the new signal.

My problem is, I couldn't get the radio to go to Channel 1. The grayed out symbol is there again, but why can't I get to Channel 1?

Duh! Traffic came back even though I didn't get to Ch 1. Of course, got to 1 later by using the **** on the right--tuning/file.

 

I thought about suggesting using the tuning **** to get to Channel 1, but I didn't want to insult your intelligence.

 

Does the free initial subscription come with the combined XM and SIRIUS (i.e. Howard Stern and MLB, etx).... my new RX350 (picked up on Friday) does not-- but I am wondering whether it was a setup issue - as when I picked the car up - the dealer did not yet have it activated... traffic does seem to be working fine..
