You should still be able to see the green blinking light with your peripheral vision. This is ridiculous OP.

I have not heard of a turn signal that turned itself off after a long period of time, but that should be required in Florida.
(and now I'm going to hear from Florida . . . .)
Not true, we have and '02 Corolla whose turn signal volume is low, our '03 Solara's turn signal was basically screaming at me.

I think it's a matter of getting used to each manufacturer's turn signal volume. I've owned Audi's, Bimmers, Yota's... To me, I find Lexus' turn signals to be tuned very appropriately with their overall interior noise level. (maybe it'd be more pronounced in the LS600h due to it's silent cabin.)

I agree with the OP. I've had vehicles that have either auto-cancelled a long running signal or added an additional audio cue due to a long running signal.

I don't like it when other people do it and I really don't like it when I have a forgotten signal. Lately it seems to happen when I'm in a long line of merging construction traffic and I'm watching the mirrors to make sure I don't get rear ended, front ended, side ended. Or maybe being old with bifocals is the problem!

It would be cool if they add the turn signal lights on the HUD.

Yes, it would especially if I had HUD!

I noticed today when the steering wheel is at a certain position the signals are covered and as much as I fidget while driving I'm sure I don't see them in my peripheral vision at times.
