Question RX450H Fog installation

Hi everyone,

Can you please show me how to gain access to the fog light on 2010,RX450H. I got the headlight replaced with HID D4S. but for the fog I tried without success. There is not much room from the top. Tried under and inner wheel pannel but couldn't take it off or make enough room. Thanks a lot.

You mean replaced with different temperture D4S. All the new Toyota projector HID uses D4S bulbs.
When I did mine, i took off the bumper.

Hello,

From what I remember accessing the fog lights on a RX450H is a BEAR The covers underneath the engine bay have to be removed and the forward part of the wheel well cover also has to be removed. The passenger side fog install is pretty straight-forward but the driver’s side is more challenging. The problem is that the transmission cooler sits behind the foglight. I watched one of my fellow Toyota/Lexus mechanic buddies replace the fog lights and working around the transmission cooler is a real big hassle. You were going at the whole thing correctly though by attempting to work from the driver side wheel cover.

I'm at work right now but I'll ask my buddy later about how he got around that whole issue
