Low fuel light?
Hi, does our car have a light that indicates the fuel tank is low. I drove with my car computer displaying 30km cruising distance remaining and there was still no light. If there is a light, how many km remain after the light turns on. For you guys down south who are complaining about the price of fuel. Im paying $1.50 a litre here, thats $5.70 a gallon. I should have got the 450h.

I think we have perhaps 75 km range left after the light comes on. I'm not willing to put that to the test, though!

The car has a 19 gal tank, the low fuel light comes on when 16 gals have been used... so there should be a 3 gal reserve.
Almost all cars have a good amount of reserve fuel, I drove 40 miles on the low fuel light on my previous car before and it still had 2 gallons left.

^^ agreed. Just last sunday in my C class, I got the yellow light. 20 miles latter (on the freeway), the whole instrument panel screen had a picture of a gas station and said reserve fuel. drove another 20 miles, and when I got to the gas station, only filled up 14.xx gallons out of the 17 gallon tank

Well, the light goes on when there's 2.8 USgal left (1 USgal = 3.785L), so that's 10.598L on yours when the light goes on. The combined mpg is 29mpg which is 46.4kpg or 46.4km per 3.785L. If it says you have 30Km, it should have turn on. Or it's just saying you have 30km before the light goes on, then from there, you have >130km to go 'till it's empty.

I finally saw the low fuel light, the last reading on my cruising distance remaining was around 25km, the display changes to LOW FUEL and theres a yellow fuel pump light that comes on near the fuel gauge. Once I saw the light I bricked it and filled up asap

Fuel warning light
How do you test the low fuel warning light.
It does not display on start up
It takes 14 gallons when on empty which surprised me as the tank is 19.2 gallons
BTW I am getting 25 mpg on regular gas

i suppose the only way to test it, is to run it low enough for it to come on? i haven't done it yet so i have no idea how low the fuel must get for it to come on. maybe some one else that had theirs come on can chime in?

My 450h light doesn't come on until 25 miles left on the cruising range, which I think is way too low. I know there's more in the tank than that, but still. Should come on at 40-50 miles left. 25 miles is not good when you're on a deserted highway.
On another note. I don't even get 25mpg in my hybrid, so good job sir.

Additionally, after 18 gals there is a audible warning thru the speaker system.
It is the voice of Donald Trump stating that he is building a wall and you have less than 2 gals to get pass it.
