The second pic kind of looks like what the 2010-2011 RX pretty much evolved into. Although, I have to say, I wish the LED headlights were standard on all of the Rx's. They look so sharp on the RX!!

By the way, I see quite a few current gen SRX's around the Tampa, Fl area, and it's true that the 2010 SRX is Number 2 behind the RX in sales and the difference in sales is very close.

Ahh - ya busted me and my quickie chop attempt! Yesterday was April 1st

I actually think the SRX with softened edges and a different headlight design would be a very viable next gen RX, but too late now ...

I have had all 3 generations. '01 RX300, '06 RX330 and now an '11 RX350. They took away some things I really liked in my '06 but I like the new car. Not enough of a difference to say wow. The only reason I bought the '11 is because I get very antsy having a car for more than 5 years.

1. Not needed, on a 450 anyway
2. Just something else to polish
3. Buy something bigger, the 350/450 is perfect for 4-5 people
4. Now you're talking. Would love that one!!

Suppose I'd have to wear a respirator when buffing the Chinese car for fear of lead poisoning.

I'll go take a chill pill now...
No chill pill needed. I don't expect everyone to agree with my wishes. lol.

However...
1. We always need more power. That's why they call it 'power'.
2. Using a dual exhaust would probably give us about 30hp more anyway (two birds with one stone).
3. I concede that we don't need a third row. you win.
4. I just want a remote start that has a range of more than 15ft. haha.

True. I'm no engineer by a long shot. Maybe a 3.7L engine is in the future, pushing around 303hp.

Can anyone say RX 370. :-)

Today's RX has plenty of power, I agree. That's why I own one. lol.

Its starting to sound like I'm debating the items on my wish list. It was just a wish list, btw.

The original thread was about the 2012 RX. There will probably not be a lot of changes, but a future generation RX will most definitely have more power.

How about you add your wish list or comment on what the 2012 will have?

+1 for that suggestion. Black Sapphire was one of the most awesome colors ever...thanks for cancelling that Lexus /sarcasm

Deep Sea Mica is close, but it's not BSP. I realize the RX no longer has a dark blue color, so maybe they'll either extend the DSM or create a "new" color.

That Black Opal Mica color is sweet, but probably only available on the H.

Is that "Stargazer Black" considered "Blue"? Looks like another shade of grey on the website.

Am I the only one that actually prefers my 11 rx to those prototype pics? ...it looks more like an infinity to me rather than a Lexus.

I was following a Toyota Venza the other day, and noticed it had "dual" exhausts. It got me to thinking, how come a Venza has dual exhausts, and my RX 350 (basically the same engine, but rated at 10 HP higher than the Venza's V6) doesn't?

Well said good sir. Especially the Navi motion lockout removal.

Add a more functional arm rest storage area, in place of that cavernous black hole we have now. haha.
