I installed a pair of PIAA Xtreme White Plus 9005's for my DRL because I did not like the yellow color from the original DRL's, but when I plugged it in, it was still yellow. I didn't realize that it was still running at half power even though I have bi-xenon HID's. Two questions. First, how do I go about getting/making a bypass to have the DRL's run at full power? Would I be able to use one that works with the LED DRL's like a relay or decoder? Second, the bulbs say that they use 60W of power, but run as if it's 120W. Is that safe? Would it melt the housings? I already have ceramic connectors paired with them so it won't melt the power connectors.

One last thing. What makes the DRL's a high beam if the bi-xenon projector is already high's? Is it the reflector for the DRL's?

V-LED sells a DRL decoder pretty cheap, you might want to visit their site.

The PIAA bulb runs at 60W, the run as if 120W is just a advertising gimmick. 60W is safe to leave in the DRL housing, it will not melt the housing nor do you need those ceramic connectors.
