Toyota is shut down. Since the Toyota and others parts supply is a cottage industry it looks like it has been severely interrupted by the earth quake and tsunami. Will we have trouble getting parts? It may be a long time until factories are again producing cars and parts. This will surely be a problem for the offshore Japanese assembly plants.
