I have the black interior, but one of the things I do like about the gray interior is the darker wood trim. I think it looks very classy.

Daryl, your new RX looks beautiful, by the way!

Nice! Went there a few years ago for a three-day birthday party. Beautiful scenery and people. Everyone loves their job. Why couldn't I be so lucky The kicker is I don't drink

Enjoy your trip

Default Very nice choice

Probably the color combination we will get when the 2012's arrive (unless they bring back a dark blue). How do you like the HUD?

HUD is awesome but it's hard to break the habit of looking at the speedometer. And the nav turns displayed on the windshield is a plus since the stereo does not lower when nav lady speaks. You can press the map button on the remote touch to have it repeated though.

I'm not a fan of the black exterior. However, this car mixes in and out color nice. Thumps up.

I agree about how hard it is to break the habit of looking at the speedo. I find myself disregarding the HUD when im driving, however, it is good when you are under guidance as you say.

Do you find you look at the hud more when it is night time? That is one option I wish I had gotten but wondered if old habits of looking at the speedometer would prevail.

I almost never look at the speedo. From day one I took to the HUD. So much easier and definitely safer. It's kind of a shame because it is a nice dash, once in a while I look down to compare what the speedo and the HUD are displaying.

HUD is definitely one of the best feature. I instantly fell in love with it when I test drive X3, but my wife somehow didn't like it. We didn't get it at the end, but I envy all you lucky one who have it. On my next car, it's will be must-have.

HUD is hard to miss at night. Some people claim it's hard to see during the day especially with polarized sunglasses. I don't have that problem. I try to use it most of the time when I'm driving but it's hard to break the habit of looking at the speedometer. I remember when the technology came out a few years ago, I believe in Cadillac or some other GM car, I thought it was weird. Now I wouldn't want another car without it.

And don't feel bad, it only took me three times to finally pick an RX with all the options I want

Default Love it...

Well I must say that so far I am impressed with the RX and although it is a different vehicle in comparison to the IS350 I had I am enjoying the up to date technology. I have finally gotten used to looking at the HUD (learning curve). I love the enform since I am often underway when I think of some place I want to go or if I am just being lazy and don't want to enter the destination into the Navi its so great. I think I have finally gotten everything programmed the way I wanted it. I did order some floor mats to protect the gray carpet - the driver foot rest was getting dirty way to fast so I ended up ordering husky mats that cover this area and the area under the gas pedal. I have noticed the gray leather showing the blueish color after a weeks driving (from blue jeans) - but I just give it a quick wipe down with some leather wipes and its gone. I also ordered a set of mud guards and a storage tote for the rear compartment from Sewell. The look of the RX is really growing on me and I have started noticing that there are quite a few 1st gen and 2nd gens out on the road which makes me feel that this was a good purchase for both longevity and reliability. Best vehicle purchase so far.
