Default Advice: Need helps from all the lexus experts!!

First off, I like to say hello to everyone in this forum. This is my first post and hopefully I'll be apart of this community in the time to come.

I was hoping if you guys can lead me to the right direction in purchasing my first Lexus, my wife and I was at the Lexus dealer today. We got an offer with the fully loaded 2011 Lexus RX350 with Navi for $46,250, I really think its a good price and plan on purchasing it but I need to confirm if it is, its a big chunk of change so I dont want to overpay for it. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks guys!!!

Welcome!

what was the MSRP? usually when people saying fully loaded, they dont mean fully loaded, as in the head up display, pre collision system, ML speaker and DVD player.

@RXSF: I believe the MSRP was ~48k

@MEP7557: No, it doesnt include the luxury package. Premium Package w/Smooth Perforated Leather, Navigation Package. Is it a good buy? Thanks.

I always hear people recommend you check www.truecar.com In there you can enter your zip code and put in the car options based on the window sticker of the car your interested in, and from that you can have a basis on how much bargaining you can ask based on what others have paid on you area. Thats what I did with mine and I even got a deal to be considered as great price

Good Luck on your purchase.

Also check www.edmunds.com. It provides MSRP, Invoice, and True Market value prices after you specify the options you are getting on the new car.

True car I feel reports too low of a true market value, and edmunds too high. Somewhere in the middle would be good.

Good luck with your deal. If there is another dealer near call them just for fun to see what there would offer the car to you. It is a fun car to have go the the Lexus web page and look under all models and pick the RX you are looking and go to pricing and options to see if there anything else you might need or want to have in your RX. You never want to get a car and 5 months later you wish you had put this or that in it when you could have at the start.

Welcome to the club, my fellow Viet.

NO, that is NOT a good deal (I assume you don't include tax and registration). I would start at 12% OFF of the MSRP (it is about their invoice) and if you get it for between 9-10% OFF of MRSP then I call it good enough. Remember, dealers need to make a living as well, so be reasonable and respectful.

Good luck - Chuc May Man.
