4$...you got a great deal!
I don't remember. I know I had a problem with them until I figured it out, but can't exactly remember what it was. Seems that they came off with the old ones and I put them on the new ones to snap in place. I can't say that for sure. That was a few months ago..lol

Well, maybe just a little more than 4$. Like I said....I can't remember... To me......they're worth it. somebody else may think I'm nuts.

I can't remember yesterday sometimes.

I paid about half using my Lexus credit card points and the wife thought I was nuts paying just the difference for the sills.

I went with LEDs for interior door and dome lights(Not too bright and no yellow),parking lights(match the HID with white output) and 28 LED fogs which match the HIDs nicely.
Doing the cargo lights but they're festoon and Kiltz is the guinea pig this time.
Might be another project for you,Lar.

Guinea pig reporting The festoon bulbs came in today. They're slightly longer than the OE bulbs. It took a few attempts to get them in. One side is more flexible than the other. When the switch is flipped on, it appears that the flexible side moves and can pop the bulb out. I did get it to work once and it looks good. I'll have to wait until this weekend to try again. I also have a different LED bulb to test out in the front dome.

I second changing out the interior bulbs. It makes a world of difference and looks sharp with the illuminated sills. Not that I've installed the sills yet. It's next on the list, probably in the spring.

I'm ok with the lights the way they are for now. After the guinea pig finishes hers and post pictures might get me interested. The next thing may be a bug shield/wind deflector and maybe new wheels for snow tires. They're just on my radar right now. There's no way I can keep up with you guys..lol Keep 'em coming though.

Nope, since I have a 450h, had to go w/the Blue. Very fulfilling for a 5 min install . . .
Next project is the Nav override - kept the PS unit from my 3GS, but not sure I want to take apart the front console/radio unit on my brand new 450 just yet . . .

Congrats for getting it completed. I went with the blue too and somewhat for the same reason. Everytime I get in at night I have that smurky grin on my face....

I can appreciate the override for the Nav, but I'm not there yet. And in part for the same reason. My wife drives the RX most of the time and I don't need her pecking away at the NAV for sure. Phone and other distracting devices is all she can handle. I should say MORE than she can handle.

Cheers,

Does they only offer these for the front doors or can you order them for the back as well?

I don't think they (Lexus) offer them as of this writing. Several members have asked about them, but I don't think they're available.

The front ones are in my 450h but Lexus did not put any in the back while they were standard on my 2005 330 which cost 20k less than my 450h did WTF. Lexus cutting product for price again.

I'm not going to bother getting the rear doors if and when available.
I rarely have rear seat passengers and the sills will be too pricey and not a plug and play install.
