How can I tell if my RX was made in Japan or Canada?

 

Look at your vin number. If the first character is J then its made from Japan. I think 2 is made from Canada.

 

So mine is made in Canada. Heaven forbid...

Sticks in jam are for flavorful toast. Now the sticker in the jamb may be helpful.

Simply: First letter number on VIN:

Number - North American made (NAFTA) - Mexico, US, Canada
Letter - Anywhere else that Carmen Sandiego may be

 

It says RX350 is assembled in Cambridge, Ontario, Canada or Miyawaka, Fukuoka, Japan. No mention of Mexico or US.

 

I was referring generically to any vehicle on the road in North America.

yes Lexus RX350 is only made in Japan or Canada.
