Last September I bought the lifetime XM and decided I was good to go. I guess I'm a sucker because today I added $100 for lifetime Sirius mostly for NASCAR and NFL coverage.
Anyway I thought I'd add you can get that too in a lifetime package just in case I'm not the only fool

Some suckers did the lifetime on XM and Best of Sirius at the same time.
I do think it's a shame, though, that streaming Pandora radio from my iPhone through the Bluetooth audio to the car sounds better than the XM tuner.

If you have the 'Full Monty' package on your phone than that probably works pretty well. My cell is just for calls, no internet. But my bill 'just for calls' is only about $28 per month Originally Posted by jay_man2

. And I don't have to depend on cell towers being in range for radio either.Pole Position
I have Sirius in one car and XM in the other. Its particularly nice when traveling cross country, but the sham is with the 2 companies now one you do not get the discount for multiple subs.
Nonetheless, and this applies to me and perhaps you Jim: as we age I for sure care less on cost and appreciation. Assuming the extra cost does not affect you.
