Passport 9500 radar on RX350
Hello everyone.
Wondering if anyone has a radar system like the Passport 9500ci installed on their RX350.
Looking for a setup like this one:

That stuff is pretty cool and myself have looked into a similar unit. But the thing that really bothers me is these units are now Bluetooth based... and what's stooping the police force from detecting the Bluetooth Radar Receiver? Jamming is illegal in all states.

Yes, your partially right. The bluetooth technology is designed to work up to 50-ft or so, but the power output can be scaled down by the manufacturer to work only as little as 5 or 10 ft away.
Where its wrong is like all wireless technologies... there is a second aspect to distance. The receiver sensitivity impacts the distance at which a wireless signal can be detected. Like bluetooth, although the transmitter is design for only a 'few feet', and I high quality receiver will pick up the signal at a much larger distance.
Of course, this may be a non issue as you zipping by a co at highway speeds.
