Neither do I but I guess its Toyota design feature. I think it would look better if it was like new GX setup with projector on the ouside of the housing with "little" drop on the edge, unique and different.
i won't really call it a "feature", more like whatever way they find to make hid work with all standards. and fwiw i am not much of a fan of the gx headlight design either
My car has the two projectors and I believe the 3rd is drl. I am a bit confused too. On the list of specs, it says HIDs. However, I don't see them warm up like HIDs do.
