That is not true, my dealer just had one on their lot 2 weeks ago. I saw it in person. The ones with the Luxury are usally built in Japan.

sorry I think billy was referring to the RXh. I know that the RXh cant get lux package without AWD, and just assumed it was the same for the regular RX.

Sorry, I did not realize we were talking about the H. Not sure why they would exclude that model.

According to my salesman who showed me the production schedule, the only units made in Japan are the Hybrids and the Sport packages. Everything else comes out of Cambridge.

Johnny, I'm not trying to argue or anything, but I just wanted you to get the correct information. I have a 2010 RX350 FWD with almost everything BUT the Sports Package and the VIN on my car starts with a "J", so I believe your salesman is giving you some incorrect information. Japan does manufacture a very limited amount of fully loaded 350s that don't have the Sport Package included along with all the RX450h that we see on the road.

My second 2010 RX 350 AWD with the Luxury package built in Japan just came in today. I pick it up tomorrow. Interested to see what has changed if anything in 6 months.

LOL...yeah, i considered myself lucky that I found this car. This car supposed to be a special order for another customer but it was later canceled. I guess I just happened to walk into the dealership at the right time to make my purchase.

I believe he is only saying that base on Canada region, as far as I know, Canada don't have FWD model, and we can't special order a model here.

That is utter and complete crap. See sig below. Japan non-sport and non-hybrid.

Guy is either an idiot or taking you for a ride and trying to close a quick sale. They can do a locate for you and find a car with a J VIN.

I could be wrong, but I doubt they would have all the details on other minor changes (perhaps addressing some of the issues that have been mentioned in this forum. Hope springs eternal!

I noticed the article mentions upgraded "brake override" for the 350, but nothing for the 450h. Does anybody know if the 2010 450h (? 350) already has updated electronics where the braking action takes precedence if the brake and accelerator are inadvertently pressed at the same time. If not, I wonder if this will be a "retrofittable" safety upgrade.
