so many northeast lexus dealers received a $1000 rebate to use on any vehicle this past weekend, so i pulled the trigger and got the rx, loaded with comfort/premium/navigation/dual rear entertainment/19's/wood steering wheel and shifter/tow package/upgraded premium audio/accessory package/and door+bumper+side moldings, plus 4 free oil changes all for $45,000 + TTL. yesterday.

Paid: $49K + tax and etc.

Got: AWD from Japan w/ Luxury, Comfort, Nav, HUD, ML, Tow Pack, Park ***, Access Pkg, and Cross Bars.
Then I added Chrome 19" rims from the Dealer for $1200. The car already came with 19"s
Dealer paid for the parts I needed to remove the Roof Rack completely.

Was this a AWD model?

Edmunds shows the invoice for a AWD vehicle with those options comes out to $51,559.

Congrats if you got it say $6500 under invoice, but I highly doubt it...

You shouldn't look at edmunds, they have pricing issues, KBB shows the right price.

Invoice is at 46K+ for AWD, so with that $1000 rebate, it's below invoice.

how does rebate work? do you get that $1000 back or it just like the discount off msrp?

because my papers shows $4,500 discount and $1000 customer rebate. Is the dealer keeping my rebate?

Sticker MSRP was 51k for my 2wd lux package, ML navi plus dealer added 20" Rims for 5k (which are not worth that) but got it for 45k. So I figure 5-6k off msrp plus free rims.

It looks like that now RX (51K+) with Lux pkg are all over dealers and they have amazing price way better than most of early RX buyer in 2009.

What the great price!! Unbelievable.

I believe the price of my RX was pretty good at that time. But I wasn't able to find Lux pkg easily without loading all of other stuff.

My MSRP was $53K so I got $4000 off and I was happy with that. Plus the dealer had to bring it in from another state to get the one I wanted. Cost them at least $500 to do that. To get what I wanted, it was worth it.

MSRP was $46000 and saved $5000, only charged me about $3000 for touring package when original is around $8500
Got it for $53000 when my local dealer was saying $58000
This numbers are all estimates, but I saved plus or minus $5100 canadian.
Shop around, even in different cities, saved that much because of it.

yes, awd.

no, the sticker was 51ish.

according to edmunds the invoice was $45ish.

the rebate is $1000 off invoice. and edmunds does not show the rebate as of now.

the dealer should give you the $1000 difference upfront so you don't have to pay the sales tax on it.

i used the lexus rebates on this new RX, and i used a $5000 rebate on my ISF last year. on the F, sticker was $62ish, invoice was $54ish. i paid $48680 plus TTL

damn dude....I need your negotiation skills. not even sure where to begin to get a good price on one like you got. you think it would be better to negotiate through internet sales/email or face to face? we only have 1 dealer here in town and the next closest dealers are in Louisville or Cincinnati. If I could get the same set of options you got priced out at 45K....I would definitely bite on that.

I got a FWD RX w/
Comfort Pkg
19in Alloys
ML Audio
Nav
Park Assist
Premium Pkg
Tow Prep
Cargo Mat, Net and wheel locks
MSRP inc handling $48,555

I paid ~$44,200, plus they gave me more for my trade (a 2009 MDX with 8k miles) than I paid for it about a year ago

This configuration is obviously a little odd. Note the absence of the wood/leather shift and steering wheel. When I asked at the parts department yesterday how much it would be to add these, I was told the shift would be $430 and the wheel $2,100. Excluding labor. I'll be living without the wood.

I got a 2010 AWD RX at the end of January 2010.

Smoky Granite, Comfort, Premium, Nav, Preferred Acc, Tow Prep, Cargo net, mat, trunk mat, Parking assist for $43.6K+TTL.

Was about 500 over invoice, as they were't willing to go any lower. They gave me 18K for my 2006 TL, seemed like a good deal to me...
