Default Emblem Remove

So got the new Rx Black on Black With Black rims. And looking to darken up the rear some more. Anyone know if the emblems can be removed without holes?

Also anyone have an Pics or good suggestions to darken the rear tail lights?

My experience is all those emblems are installed with double sided tape. I took them off my 4Runner with no problem. Be sure to protect the paint where you are prying.
They do have red colored tail lights available but they are expensive. Otherwise you can put the film over them.

Well I just traded in an IS350 and the emblems have holes. So I wasn't going to go prying without knowing first.

I was looking more for somthing black on the tail lights.

Both of my Lexus have stick on emblems. Both Lexus model numbers and the Lexus logos were applied with the built in adhesive.

pried my emblems, only attached w/ double sided tape, there were alignment holes for both emblems

you can get a black chrome front grill with no emblem mount & not install the emblem for a cleaner look

I had the rear emblems (rx 350 & lexus) taken off 04 & 10, dealer supposely used a hairdryer. Car looks a lot cleaner without the emblems.

Goof Off liquid + hairdryer or heat gun + nylon fishing line used as a "saw" to cut through softened adhesive layer.

pulled mines off on a cold morning. it popped right off leaving no goo although it was touch to get some letters off and i broke the lexus in 2. if i had done it in the afternoon after the car has sat in the sun it prob would came off easier but there is more chance of goo residue. if you are careful when pulling letters off you can get away with little to no goo residue.

Cargraphic can smoke your tail lights as they did for my Cayenne Turbo S, most tinters can do so either with film of actually a paint. A film works if you have doubts and for resale.

With my Cayenne I actually purchased a spare set and had them painted black. Pics on my sig link below.

I too debadged, except for the larger blue-black L. The car looks soooo much cleaner from the rear, not so cluttered. Same done to my Bimmer as well as Porsche.

I'm looking for some black Lexus center caps/hubcaps for the stock 19" hybrid wheels. Any out there?

The wife is not so into getting another set of wheels (I would go for a blacked out set with a deep chrome lip like these if I could:

Well I called up www.aerotect.net and they said come on down. They going to take care of tinting the rear tails, rear lower bumper reflector, yellow front fogs and removing the rear emblems. Now I only need the front windows tinted to match the rears.

I have used them before on my IS350 and they were great.

Pulled them (emblems) off this AM. No problem, less than five minutes. No residual. The car is only a few months old and I wash it 3 times a week and I have yet to drive it in the rain. So, I was amazed at how dirty it was around the lettering. Glad they are gone.

Post pics of the tail lights after you get them done, curious.

Ok so I'm back with pics. But going to start a new thread for the pics.

Yes the emblems came right off and no holes. So thanks to you guys for the info.

Also check the new thread for the smoked tails, yellowed lights and Carbon fiber parts.

There is a clip holding onto my rear lift gate logo. How do I open this clip let the wires loose?
