For those of you on the East Coast getting nailed with another blizzard, what are you doing to keep from getting bored?

It has been bad three weeks. When we had snow two weeks ago, HS kid in his mon’s Navigator “nailed” my rear quarter panel. While the RX was in the shop, second snow storm hits and I get stuck in NY but RX was ready after only 3 days in the shop so I go to pick it up and discover, large screw in one of my tire, one side of the cargo light doesn’t work, missing two wheel-well screws, fish-eye on the paint job, overspray, body shop dust covered interior, and missing bumper guard [back ordered]. This is all from a reputable body shop. I pickup the car when it was dark so I couldn’t check on the paint job but I was able to identify one “fish-eye” while putting in gas under the station light. RX is currently covered in salt parked outside the garage covered with fresh new snow from yesterday. This has been a record breaking snow and I am ready to move to Florida.

With two 18 inch snows in 5 days I started looking at travel sites on the web. I also watched my two cockapoos try to figure out how to do their thing in snow that was 3 times as deep as they are tall!!

I am retired from an electric utility so I was also thankful that I did not have to go into the office and coordinate restoration efforts. I miss the action but I don't miss the hassles!

- 10 minutes shovel in the morning.
- drove in RX to work 10 minutes later than usual.
- 20 minutes shovel in the evening.
A fun filled day, I must say.

I have been shoveling and using my small snow blower. They still haven't cleared our street since the storm Tues/Wed. My golden retriever had a ball playing fetch in the high snow. We are watching a lot of the stuff we have had sitting on the DVR.
